The Eucharist is “the source and summit of the Christian life,” but studies show that not all Catholics understand its central role in the faith. That’s why the U.S. bishops launched a National Eucharistic Revival, a three-year movement to restore understanding and devotion to this great mystery.
The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage traveled through the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Pilgrims journeyed as they accompanied Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament to the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis.

In April of 2022 the Holy Father, Pope Francis, appointed Father Earl Fernandes of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati as the 13th Bishop of the Diocese of Columbus.
In anticipation of the bicentennial celebration of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati a statue of Our Lady of Fatima and pilgrims from across the archdiocese traveled over 300 miles as part of the longest Marian Pilgrimage in the United States.
