Join us in praying a 54-Day Rosary Novena beginning Friday, Sept. 15, for respect for the dignity of life and the defeat of this amendment.
“Our defense of the innocent unborn … needs to be clear, firm, and passionate, for at stake is the dignity of a human life, which is always sacred and demands love for each person, regardless of his or her stage of development.”
— Pope Francis (Gaudete et Exsultate, 101)
54-Day Rosary Novenas have been a form of prayer in the Church since the late 19th century. The origin is attributed to a young girl who received a miraculous healing from a chronic illness after praying three novenas. In an apparition, our Blessed Mother specified that the full 54-Day prayer should have three novenas in petition followed by three novenas in thanksgiving. This structure has been embraced by countless people since then as a wonderful way to pray.
