The Eucharistic Revival is a grassroots movement of Catholics, each responding to the gift of the Eucharist in their own way. The three-year initiative is sponsored by the Bishops of the United States to inspire and prepare the People of God for a renewed encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist – the source and summit of our Catholic faith. The Revival’s milestone event will be a National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis, IN, July 17-21, 2024.
In the Gospel of John, chapter 6, Jesus told His disciples, “I am the bread of life… Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you do not have life within you.” This is why we, as Catholics, refer to the Eucharist as the “Source and Summit” of the Christian life. In a world searching for meaning, Jesus invites you to find the fullness of life through knowing, loving and receiving His Body and Blood in the Eucharist.
