DIVINE WORSHIP AND SACRAMENTS
Purpose STATEMENT
The Office for Divine Worship and Sacraments (ODWS) assists the Archbishop in his role as “high priest of the flock” (Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, 41), supporting the Church of Cincinnati in celebrating the sacraments and other celebrations of divine worship. “Christ is always present in his Church, especially in her liturgical celebrations.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1088)

Pastors, Deacons, RCIA directors, liturgical and sacramental ministers (initiation ministers, music ministers, et al.) and schools
WHAT WE DO
- Support pastors and parishes in their liturgical and sacramental ministries.
- Assisting the Archbishop in making policies regarding liturgical and sacramental ministries.
- Provide formation opportunities (online, print, physical) for liturgical and sacramental ministers (priests, deacons, initiation ministers, music ministers, et al.).
- Offer liturgical print resources to parishes and schools at deep discount/cost.
