Daily saint Intention
Today we are praying through the intercession of Sts. Elizabeth & Zechariah, parents of St. John the Baptist, that ultrasounds be readily available to expecting and fearful mothers. May the opportunity to see their children on the screen instill in them a desire to carry their children to term. Sts. Elizabeth & Zechariah, pray for us!
Novena Opening Prayer
O Holy Mother, at thy feet I offered a crown of roses, golden roses to remind thee of the divine life which was opened to humanity through your family’s suffering, the Glorious Mysteries of thy heart. Bound together by my petitions for the protection of human life and dignity and the defeat of Issue 1, I entrusted this gift to thee, knowing that I had no reason to despair while in the presence of your Most Gentle, Charitable Heart.
I now offer up my gratitude and thanksgiving for the swiftness of your warm embrace, and the bounty of graces thou, O Great Dispenser of God’s Graces, hast bestowed upon me. I love you, my Mother; help me never be far from thee! Amen.
