“I usually get to church an hour before Mass during the weekday and it gives me a chance to say the breviary, which I do in German.

I also reflect on the homily coming up that week. It’s just a real neat time. There’s nobody there. It’s just me and hopefully the Holy Spirit’s whispering in my ear.”
